Digital Citizenship Statement

 

My reponsibility as a teacher is to guide my students in becoming good digital citizens. My students need to understand the importance and implications of the Creative Commons liscences, copyright law, and Fair Use when appropriating content from the web. It is my role to model acceptable behavior during online interactions, and model appropriate language and speech in the online community. My capacity as a teacher puts me in a position to shape the way online citizenship grows and evolves as my students become involved in all levels of online interactions and use.
